I really enjoyed reading The Rook, last year, after it hooked me with that first line. It's a fantasy/supernatural action thriller with a healthy dose of wit, suspense and superpowers. It's the X Men meets MI-6. Myfanwy Thomas is one of my favourite protagonists, the kind you wish was your friend.
