This is my little drawing for Neil Gaiman's November Tale http://keepmoving.blackberry.com/desktop/en/us/ambassador/neil-gaiman.html#Nov?contentId=1018549 for Blackberry's KeepMoving project. If you haven't seen The Calender of Tales go check it out. It is soooo much fun reading the twelve stories and looking at all those lovely images.
I really had a great time painting this. :)

Have a happy 2013!

Note: ability to dig out all the mucus your nose ever generated is NOT a super power, no matter how many people may insist on it.
So let's not dig. It's not like there's gold at the end of the tunnel there.
Happy New Year!

Kurkure Monster Paws Ad
Live action+ animation ad by Studio Eeksaurus.
I worked on storyboards and animated the monster from the shot where he's waiting around a door till the end. Fun. So much fun!!!
Figuring out how to integrate the 2d and flash animation(Clean up, colour and inking in Flash as well as most of the animation) with the live action took some headscratching the 3D department was a live saver :)
Let's see if longer cuts of it get online soon.

Studio Eeksaurus - Payback
Okay I am making up for lost time by putting up all the work I am allowed to show now.
This is an ad for Payback done some time ago, animated mostly in Flash. Each person in the 2D team worked on almost every shot since there are so many characters!

Granny Dance Off
This project was at first mostly something the studio interns worked on(dance moves, storyboard, character design, animation etc), but the 2D team jumped in later(some of the animation, colour, look and feel, clean up, colour, compositing etc).
I animated the curtain in the intro, Shanti tucking in her sari pallu in Shot 03, Julie tossing the thermometer in her mouth and the side to side neck moves in shot 12 and the end tag , and Julie mocking Shanti with the whole wave on the nose thing.
The song is a remix of an old 1960 Bollywood classic song "Nani teri morni ko mor le gaye",
Translation : Granny, peacocks took your peahen(er sidenote.. that's what you call the female, right?) away.
Ok, that sounds weird when translated into English :)
